a5c7b9f00b The Nazis set up a secret base on the dark side of the moon in 1945 where they hide out and plan to return to power in 2018. In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by fleeing to the Dark Side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis construct a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers. When American astronaut James Washington puts down his Lunar Lander a bit too close to the secret Nazi base, the Moon Führer decides the glorious moment of retaking the Earth has arrived sooner than expected. Washington claims the mission is just a publicity stunt for the President of the United States, but what else could the man be but a scout for the imminent attack by Earth forces? The Fourth Reich must act. Two Nazi officers, ruthless Klaus Adler and idealistic Renate Richter, travel to Earth to prepare the invasion. In the end when the Moon Nazi UFO armada darkens the skies, ready to strike at the unprepared Earth, every man, woman and nation alike, must re-evaluate their priorities. There is an art to making cheesy science fiction movies, the kind that are remembered 50 and 60 years later. It's people in rubber suits that have various parts of different kinds of lizards put together. It's dialogue that might have come from a third grader's creative writing class. It's acting that Bill Shatner could appreciate. It takes itself so seriously that it becomes unintentionally funny. That's what is good about bad science fiction.

"Iron Sky" tries to be that, but never quite succeeds in any of it. The premise is solid enough: Nazi's flee Germany after their defeat is inevitable, they go to the dark side of the moon and plan an invasion. That could work, it could be everything that makes those other movies memorable. But there's just enough competency in the acting, not that any of it is great by any means, that "Iron Sky" loses it on that end.

Secondly, the effects were too crisp. They were more in line with the summer blockbuster variety suchyou might get with "Independence Day". They were well done, but that's not what cult movies are known for.

Third, the dialogue is all over the place. When the members of the "Fourth Reich" speak, they do so with conviction and purpose, again in line with the classics. But when nearly everyone else speaks, it's intentionally ridiculous. It just doesn't have the right feel, the right attitude.

In the end, I didn't hate "Iron Sky", but I got the sense that it never really identified what kind of movie it wanted to be. Ultimately I don't believe it will be memorable. As I live in Finland, I have been interested in Iron Sky movie since they announced that the makers of the film 'Star Wreck' are making a new sci-fi movie. Star Wreck was funny, and it was made with a very low budget (15, 000 euro), but the CGI looked pretty good. I have followed pretty much the progress of the Iron Sky film on internet, and the first trailers looked very much awesome. Visually the trailers said to me, that this movie was going to be astounding!

Today I saw the screening of Iron Sky at the 'Iron Sky On Tour' event in Finland, where there where also the director Timo Vuorensola and the producer Tero Kaukomaa talking about the film after the screening - which was all very interesting, but I will only give a short review of the film for you now!

The story of the film was great, especially if you like conspiracy theories and such. I trust you all know the movie follows space-Nazis from the moon, so I will not tell you more about the plot (but I can say it was pretty ordinary after all). The humor of the film was probably best ever. I understand that Nazis are a tough thing to swallow for many (probably more to Europeans than others), but the script was so well-written and the jokes were so good, that I don't think if I have ever laughed so much in a movie theater. The characters were all interesting on their own way, and I think I liked most Julia Dietze - I wish her nothing more than a blossoming careeran actress!

Visually the film is probably the best looking ever that has come out of Europe - not to mention Finland where we are used to only drama films! And the budget of this film was only 7,5 million Euros! The director Vuorensola said that this movie has something like 890 CGI shots, nearlymuchthe latest Transformers film. I can't describe by words how awesome some scenes looked, but I dare say that sometimes it looked even better than the space battles of Star Wars Episode III. It is funny how you can do a film that looks like a 100 million film with under 10 million!

All in all this film was a pleasant surprise. My expectations were really high, but it was so nice to see that the film was nothing more than an superb and entertaining 1,5 hour film with great humor and awesome visuals! I could easily say that this is the best sci-fi movie happening in space ever. I highly recommend this film to all friends of science fiction and good comedy - well worth a cost of a movie ticket!
Jarmo Puskala came up with the idea for the film whilst in the sauna. The filmmakers also provided the opportunity for collaboration from fans. People could ask for a screening in their home town, help collaborate in the film's creation, and invest in the movie. 10% of the film's budget was generated by fans. However, the idea of Nazis secretly on the Moon goes at leastfar backRobert Heinlein's novel "Rocket Ship Galileo" published in 1947. The Finnish director Timo Vuorensola was under a lot of time pressure and completed the theatrical version only 48 hours ahead of the deadline for the Berlinale festival. Unfortunately, that meant that numerous scenes were not yet finished and couldn't be integrated into the movie. The now released Director's Cut, which is also marketedDictator's Cut, is not only much longer than the theatrical version but also the better film. It makes the film seem more complete, adds more depth to story and characters, has more battle scenes and some improved effect shots. That should satisfy fans. The director himself described it this way: "With the Director's Cut, I was able to bring in many of the scenes I really enjoyed and now are prepared in full quality. The film is now almost 20 minutes longer, and much more epic in pacing, and finally in the form I originally wanted it to be." Watchmen full movie download mp4DeepStar Six full movie in hindi free download mp4The High 720p moviesMother Sky tamil pdf downloadCasus Kiran - 7 canli adam 720p torrentGeorge Clooney 311 full movie in hindi free download mp4The Punisher movie hindi free downloadSonic Underground hd mp4 downloadEpisode 1.36 full movie in hindi free download hd 720pRandom Stop full movie in hindi free download hd 1080p
